A Step-by-Step Guide to Installing a Number Plate Holder on Your Vehicle
· First, remove the existing number plate/ and holder (if applicable) from your vehicle. To do this, you may need to use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the plate or frame in place.
· Take your new number plate holder and line it up with the existing screw holes on your vehicle. Make sure the plate holder is centred and level.
· Insert the screws into the screw holes and tighten them with a screwdriver. Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this can damage the plate holder and the vehicle.
· Once the screws are tightened, ensure the number plate holder is securely attached to your vehicle.
· When the plate holder is firmly attached insert your number plate by slightly bending the plate so the edges clip under the frame and then push the plate upwards to sit under the top recess.
· When fitting the message strip tuck both ends under the frame recess and then press the centre of the strip to fasten the strip. There are two further clips that need connecting by pressing them in.
· Finally press the three security clips in the holes provided along the bottom of the message strip.
